Drop-in classes at OMNI, at the Y

Essential Length and Strength:  Massage your muscles and free your fascia with therapy-ball-based self-massage and gentle (but not easy) corrective exercises. Sore spots are soothed and muscles are strengthened and lengthened with new movement patterns that result in a more resilient, pain-free body. Whatever your exercise or recreation of choice, this class will improve your alignment and keep you balanced.

All bodies need balancing, from hyper-fit athletes to occasional exercisers. This class will reveal and resolve your tension patterns and sore spots, using self-massage with therapy balls and gentle-but-challenging corrective exercises.

Tuesdays from 5:30pm-6:45pm, ongoing

MOVEMENT FOR THE OFFICE:  Calling all desk workers… Moving more helps you stay healthy! Exercising is great, but it can be hard to find time to fit it in. This 5-week workshop, teaches movements that fit into your day, and make your desk-bound time less sedentary and more active. Tips and tricks that will increase circulation, boost your immune system, and help change your movement habits for whole-body health.  A book with all the exercises, stretches, and tips to keep you moving is included.

MOVE YOUR DNA Workshop: April 7th & 8th, 2018

This two-day intensive is designed to give you hands-on experience with all of the exercises taught in the book Move your DNA by Katy Bowman. The only prerequisite is having read the book. The curriculum will consist of those exercises, giving you a chance to thoroughly explore the movement with the benefit of a certified Restorative Exercise Specialist™ teaching and observing you. We’ll also spend time outdoors working on gait patterns and natural movements. Learn to move without pain with exercises you can fold into your everyday life. Classes are limited to 10 students to allow for plenty of individual attention. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in improving their health through practicing these correctives. Included in the course price is an e-workbook with all of the exercises!

private sessions

Private sessions allow me to give my full attention to your specific questions and concerns. All sessions are one hour.  You will be taught exercises and alignment points to most efficiently address any pain you are having, or symptoms that need fixing. All exercises given can be performed at home as well for rapid progression and improvement!   Please contact me  if you have any questions.
